"Coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous" - Albert Einstein
Pran-Chakra-Pujanam is a focused meditation on the Hindu deities. And I want to take a moment to share my viewpoint on God, Religion, and Deities. Being born and brought up in a Hindu family, I am used to seeing God in the form of Hindu deities, and I enjoy His/Her presence in the familiar forms that I am used to. When I started studying Chakras, I found it difficult to focus my mind on any given interoceptive location of my body - where the chakras reside. And further study of Upanishads told me the connection to the deities. I understood that to stop my thoughts, I have to focus on something that would keep me there. I understood the value of deities here.
Thus, my meditation has deities, representing the ownership of qualities of the chakra and within my heart, I know about God’s immense potential to manifest himself in any form the devotee wants. Sometimes God manifests as a stranger to help and sometimes as a beggar to test. Thus, I hope that all understand that the focus of my meditation is not as much on as any particular form; but more so on the TATVA (Essence of the qualities) of God. The form or absence of it is merely a choice of the devotee.
Some know the supreme consciousness as Allah Tala(الله), some as beloved Spirit, Jesus, Krishna, Ram, Mahavir, Jhulelal, Vahe Guru(ੴ), Amun-Ra, Ghanshyam, Buddha, Durga, Shiva, and many other forms.
I deeply respect all devotees and the forms they pick for themselves; or more so the form that God destined them to pick. I do not think the importance is in “which” form or what "name" we give, but rather, how we truly connect to Him/Her and what we seek from Him/Her.
God unquestionably has the power to take whatever form a devotee prefers.
I take this opportunity to give my deepest respect to all the devotees and all the forms that the devotees have found God in. My head bows down with respect for all religions, and all the thoughts, words and actions of kindness and love, as I know that all that is good is coming from the single source that connects all life.
