"I have been a student of Suchi’s for more than a year now and I cannot begin to count the ways my life has been changed by practicing with her and learning from her teachings; but I will try. I think one of the most significant changes I have experienced is in my communication. I am able to share my thoughts and feelings very clearly and in a way that does not hurt anyone’s feelings. In situations of confrontation, I have become able to talk out the problem with those involved and come to a solution, without ego. The only way I can explain this is from the practice with Suchi and what I have learned from her about our nerves and how to balance them through breathing exercises. My relationships have grown because I am able to see from others’ perspective more quickly and easily as well as be able to empathize with others’ situations. I could continue listing the mental benefits I’ve received from this practice, a sense of balance, calmness, being grounded, more organized and efficient, but I will tell you from a physiological perspective, my body has changed in measurable ways. After I was well into my routine and practice with Suchi, my endocrinologist has lowered my thyroid medicine. Having a lifelong thyroid condition where part of my thyroid had been removed, I’ve needed to take medicine to help control my thyroid activity. However, with the pranayama practice (breath work that helps balance nerve centers of the body) my body has been better able to control my thyroid activity with less medication."

I was an occasional yogasana practitioner since my adulthood. I never really practiced Pranayams or Meditation before Sucharita started teaching me. Before learning the true meaning and effects of yogic practice, I considered Yoga as a stretching activity. Sucharita not only teaches Asanas, Pranayamas and meditation explaining unique benefits of each ones, she teaches physiological and neurological impacts of Yoga. Being an engineer and a firm believer in science, this is the language that I understand. I had a fracture in my L5 bone. The physical therapist I saw taught me some exercises that I can perform at home. These exercises helped with core strengthening and pain management but my fracture was not healing for 3 years. Sucharita taught me Asanas that help with back injuries. She also explained benefits of each one of them. With the yogasanas, my back not only got stronger, the fracture healed completely in 1 year. Earlier, I was not able to sit on ground for 2 minutes. Now, I can sit for an hour and also carry my 35lbs daughter when I play with her. The most important aspect of yogic practice is Pranayama and meditation that Sucharita teaches. She has taught me techniques that I use to calm myself down in stressful situations. Stress being the leading factor that manifests into more than 90% of the physical ailments, learning pranayama and meditation with Sucharita has equipped me with invaluable strength. Pran-Chakra-Pujanam created by Sucharita is a magical feeling when practiced regularly. I strongly recommend learning Yogasanas, Pranayams and Meditation from Sucharita."

“I had done some yoga when I was young, and then I again started in my adulthood. But, I always procrastinated to do pranayama all my life, never took it seriously, up until I met Sucharita. I just loved her way of teaching pranayama with chakra meditation and yoga. After I joined her class I became a regular pranayama practitioner. I have been doing pranayama with her for the last 7 months and all my allergies and coughing are gone. Also My breathing has improved, I never thought that with only 7 months of pranayama, I would be able to cure my lifelong allergies.
